Evergreen shrub related to Myrtle - the white flowers are very similar. The main attraction of this shrub is the foliage colour which is a rich reddish-purple. The leaves are small and round with the obvious appeal for flower arranging. Needs a warm sheltered position in mild areas. grows up to approximately 3 metres.
