Description
This woody perennial has striking silver-grey foliage and upright, sculptural habit. During summer, whorls of golden-yellow, hooded flowers emerge around the stems, creating a beautiful contrast with the silvery leaves and attracting bees and other pollinators. Drought tolerant once established, it is an excellent choice for sunny borders, gravel gardens and Mediterranean-style planting schemes. Well suited to sheltered coastal gardens and tolerant of salt-laden air.
