Description
Grevillea × semperflorens is a handsome evergreen Australian hybrid, bringing year-round presence and a graceful, finely divided texture to the garden. For much of the year, its dense, bushy branches are brightened by abundant clusters of pink to reddish flowers, glowing warmly against the foliage and offering welcome nectar to bees and other pollinating insects.
Plant it in full sun, where its flowers can catch the light, and choose a sheltered position with well-drained soil. Once established, it tolerates dry conditions well, making it a dependable choice for sunny, lower-maintenance planting.
With its lasting structure and generous flowering, this versatile shrub sits beautifully in mixed borders and informal shrub plantings, while its nectar-rich blooms make it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. It is particularly well suited to mild coastal gardens.
