Description
Coleonema pulchellum is a graceful, evergreen shrub with fine, aromatic foliage and masses of star-shaped pink flowers from late spring to summer . The slender, heath-like leaves are pleasantly fragrant when brushed, and the profuse blooms create a soft, cloud-like display that brightens the garden.
Native to South Africa, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, suiting sheltered borders, gravel gardens, Mediterranean-style planting and coastal sites. Once established it is drought tolerant, low maintenance, and its nectar-rich flowers attract bees and other early pollinators.
