Description
This hardy Californian lilac thrives in a warm, sheltered position with well-drained soil and is particularly well suited to coastal locations thanks to its excellent tolerance of salt-laden winds. Once established, it is drought tolerant and requires very little maintenance, making it an ideal shrub for low-maintenance landscapes. It also provides an invaluable source of nectar for bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
