Description
A graceful, deciduous to semi-evergreen flowering shrub valued for its abundant display of delicate, bell-shaped blooms. Native to Mexico, it produces masses of soft pink to rosy-lilac flowers with darker throats from late spring through summer, often attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
This shrub thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Once established, Vesalea floribunda is moderately drought tolerant and requires minimal maintenance beyond occasional pruning to maintain its shape and encourage fresh flowering growth. Its elegant, arching habit makes it an excellent choice for mixed borders, cottage gardens, wildlife gardens, or a specimen plant.
