Description
This evergreen Australian shrub produces spectacular display of rich pink to red flowers. The finely divided, dark green leaves create an elegant, fern-like texture, while the distinctive spider-like flowers are produced over a long period, providing valuable colour when many other shrubs are not in bloom.
An excellent choice for a sunny, sheltered position, Grevillea ‘Canberra Gem’ is particularly well suited to coastal and mild gardens. Its flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly planting schemes. It performs best in fertile, well-drained, slightly acidic soil and benefits from protection from cold, drying winds.
