Description
A superb ornamental oregano, forming spreading mounds of aromatic, grey-green foliage topped with airy sprays of deep pink-purple flowers throughout summer. The wiry flower stems create an elegant, informal effect and are particularly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
A drought-tolerant and easy-to-grow perennial, ‘Herrenhausen’ is ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, sunny borders and containers. It thrives in well-drained soil and is an excellent choice for coastal gardens, tolerating dry conditions and salt-laden air once established.
