Description
A beautiful semi-evergreen shrub prized for its wonderfully fragrant, creamy-white flowers, which appear on bare stems from late winter into early spring. The clusters of tubular blooms provide valuable early nectar for bees and other pollinating insects, often flowering when little else is in bloom. Its arching growth and attractive dark green foliage make it an excellent choice for mixed borders, woodland-style planting or informal hedging. Hardy and easy to grow, it is a particularly useful shrub for bringing colour and fragrance to the winter garden.
