Description
Trachelospermum jasminoides (star jasmine) is a vigorous, evergreen climber valued for its glossy, dark green foliage and highly fragrant, star-shaped white flowers that bloom from late spring into summer. The sweetly scented flowers create a stunning display and fill the garden with perfume, making it a favourite for walls, fences, pergolas, and archways.
This twining climber typically reaches 4–8 m (13–26 ft) with support and thrives in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant and requires little maintenance beyond occasional pruning to control its size and shape.
