Description
Pinus radiata is a fast-growing evergreen conifer valued for its attractive, deep green foliage and impressive year-round presence. Its long, soft needles are carried in pairs on spreading branches, forming a dense, broadly pyramidal tree when young and developing a more open, irregular crown with age. Particularly well suited to mild, exposed and coastal conditions, it makes an excellent windbreak or specimen tree where space allows. A vigorous choice for larger gardens and landscapes, thriving in full sun and well-drained soil.
