Description
A superb choice for a naturalistic or woodland-style planting, Gillenia trifoliata combines beautifully with ferns, grasses and other shade-loving perennials. It prefers a moist, fertile, well-drained soil in partial shade, but will tolerate sunnier conditions where the soil does not dry out. Once established it is relatively low maintenance and makes an excellent specimen plant, gradually forming a substantial, upright clump.
