Description
A versatile and hardy shrub, Cornus alba ‘Elegantissima’ is ideal for mixed borders, wildlife gardens, hedging and mass planting. Creamy-white flowers appear in late spring, followed by clusters of white berries that are attractive to birds. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil, although it is adaptable to a wide range of garden conditions. For the brightest winter stem colour, prune hard in early spring to encourage vigorous new growth. It typically reaches 2–3m in height with a similar spread.
