Description
Thriving in partial to full shade, Blechnum spicant prefers moist, acidic, humus-rich, well-drained soil and reaches a mature height of around 30–60cm. Ideal for woodland gardens, shade gardens, fern collections, and naturalistic planting schemes, it also performs well beneath trees and shrubs where other plants may struggle.
